Sisters

Thanks for taking a peek at my entry for January's challenge with Scrap That and Stuck on U Sketches.   This page was put together using leftover papers and die cuts from the past years.  So nice to finally put them to good use.  It's hard to believe this photo of my sister and me was taken nearly ten years ago!  I am putting together a special scrapbook filled with special memories taken throughout the years. 

This is the Stuck on you sketch.  I felt my layout worked well for both of these sketches.

New Age Cowboy

My newest entry for OUAS and Scrap for Help!  New Age Cowboy.  What a better way to begin the new year than with a new age! I had such fun putting this page together.  We have lived in Texas now for 13 years and simply love it!  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. 

I tied the journaling to the cowboy lasso and tucked it between the layers.

I pulled this page together using "My Creative Sketches" January challenge page design.  I have to say I had such fun creating this page.  I decided on a simple white back ground to give the vivid Graphic 45 Nutcracker Suite paper collection top billing.  Aren't they gorgeous!  I am also entering this page into Scrape It Girls January Challenge of “BLING, GLITTER, SHINE, & SPARKLES” and c'est magnifique  January Challenge.  Wish me luck!

The first year in a child's life starts off with a fresh clean slate.  The white back ground projects the innocents and the colorful papers and embellishments represent all the wonders we absorb in life.

This was definitely a year of love for my family.  My two lovely daughters wed and my son just became engaged over the Christmas holidays!  What a wonderful year it has been.  I wish all of you a Happy New Year!

Believe

I was so surprised when my son gave me this small teapot with cup and saucer.  I had always wanted one but never could bring myself to purchase it.  I love this special gift.  Love you Brendan!  I thought this would be the perfect LO for the December 2012 Recipe Challenge.

DREAM

 Dream.  What every child does especially this time of year.  I just love Graphic 45 Nutcracker Suite paper collection.
