I love sweets, don't you!  Hello and welcome my crafty friends!
7 Dots Studio's have created this deliciously sweet new collection called "Cotton Candy"
You can find it at Nani Ke Ola store along with "Writer's Block" here.

Today I would like to share with you a layout I created using this vibrant and whimsical paper "Strawberry Fields".

My daughter and I went to China over the summer.  Here she gives a peace sign in a beautiful garden nestled in down town Shanghai.

The butterfly chippies received a coat of gesso then a coat of all purpose glue and finally dipped in orange glitter.  Each received black gem dots.  I used a black magic marker on the word chippie then used a white pen to high light it.  The bicycle chippie was painted with yellow gelato then black marker and white pen to high light areas.

Here I have used    .  Using a 12x12 sheet I used this punch all along the four sides of the paper and placed it on top of .

Now it is time to riffle through my stash and see what I can come up with to create a fun fairy land to surround my picture.

Using gelatos and water colors I have painted my chipboard pieces and set them aside.
Now I took some drywall tape and cut thin strips and run them down the paper followed by

Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.

The papers are new and the bling is blue and the dry wall tape is old.
My grandson is very "special" and dear to my heart.  He is my inspiration for this layout.
