A bit of Fantasy and Whimsy

Greeting paper peeps!!

Today I would like to share with you a layout I created filled with fantasy and whimsy.  I was inspired by the three challenges below. 

I love this cut out picture of my daughter on her way to the prom.  Throwing care to the wind she steps out of the everyday and into her zany carefree self.  Just like a beautiful butterfly free to be themselves.

 

 



After selecting the beautiful 7DS paper I set about putting a thin coat of gesso on it so the paint colors would stand out better.  Then I used two different masks to center my design.  I used several layers of the LSG Sunset Pink to achieve the right intensity then came back and applied Clam Baked Beige and Ocean Breeze Blue.  I finished it off with a bit of stamping.

 



 

I layered in flowers, chipboard, sequins and more to complete the dream.
