Happy Day {Helmar Glue}

 Everyone is Irish if only for one day!  Kathleen here sharing a mixed media layout featuring Helmar Zapdots!

Hi everyone!  This is a picture I took of my oh so Irish grandson in his Irish gersey.  We took him to Williamsburg shortly before Halloween.  Just look at those red curly locks!  For this layout I used my favorite Helmar black 1/2" round Zapdots to elevate the picture and Helmar Acid Free glued to secure all the elements in place.

After marking the center point of my composition I  sprayed on some Tattered Angels Valencia (orange).  Next I applied Shimmerz Texturz Mari-Gold-Digger paste with a dotted stencil in a "t" pattern.  Then  I enhanced the design with a few stamps.

The picture is double matted and set in place with Helmar black 1/2" Zapdots.  I also used them to elevate the butterfly and leaves to add a bit of dimension.

The chipboard frame and shamrocks were sprayed green with Lindy Stamp Gang Ponderosa Pines Olive and glued in place with Helmar Acid free glue.  Finishing the piece by scattering a few flowers and lace and securing them in place with Helmar Acid Free Glue.

 I hope you have enjoyed what you have seen here today.  Don't forget to let your own creativity take flight with a little help from Helmar Glues!

More than Words use gesso and the inspiration word is "bliss"
I first used gesso to temper the layout I then used it again to splatter around the layout.  My little man is my bliss!
