I went through my old photo albums and found this sweet picture of my son dashing around the farm in search of Easter treats. I love his smile and eagerness. It would not be long before our world would be torn apart as the result of an abusive situation. The journaling is found on the tag. It is very private.
The green torn papers are in the shape of a cracked egg. One should use their strong imagination abilities for this! lol I am pleased to say we (my children and I) can now smile and laugh again. Time heals all wounds.
I inked around the egg in a medium blue ink. I used white acrylic paint to create pearls on the scallops then lightly dusted them with brown ink.
An egg is laying in wait on the bow. I hope everyone can find the joy of Easter in this layout.
I crafted these leaves from ribbon and green grass paper I had in my stash.
I had some lovely stamps I used from Graphic 45. I love this cherry blossom branch stamp. As the paper is torn back everything comes to life.
Thank you for stopping by to see what the papers are saying today. I hope you and your families have a very blessed Easter.
