Easy layered layout {Helmar Design Team}
Elementary
October to me is a month of ghosts and goblins, witches on brooms and black cats at your feet oh my! It is also a time for creating wonderful memories from taking our children trick or treating. My daughter and I were in London and visited 221 Baker Street home to Sherlock Holmes. So I just had to create this easy layered layout using Helmar's Permanent Adhesive Runner.
For this layout I used Carta Bella- Trick or Treat paper collection.
Step one
Cut out a 7 1/2" square from the center from the main 12x12 scrapbook paper(Ghosts) and set aside.
Cut an 8" square(Halloween Words) and edge in Dark Bark chalk ink.
Cut a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2 (Spooktacular) and edge in Dark Bark chalk ink.
Cut out a couple of 4"x 6" post cards(Halloween Carnival) and edge in Dark Bark ink.
With all of our main elements cut out we are ready for;
Step Two
Using Helmar's Permanent Adhesive Runner run a band around the outside of each of the layers and center them one on top of the other.
Step 3
Using Helmar Zapdotspeel off the squares and apply them around the frame and on the sticker(tip: Dust sticker with baby powder before applying dots. This will prevent the sticker glue from adhering to your project where you don't want it to.) to give your project definition and a place to tuck your leaves under.
Our last and final step
Adhere your embellishments in place.
This is where I love using Helmar Acid Free Glue specifically formulated for memory albums.
It goes on white and dries clear.
